This home was so comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. We felt very much at home here

The property is very clean and well appointed. Great communication from the host. . It good location. Close to stores and restaurants.

The house is adorable, in a great location, and has many little thoughtful touches to add to a pleasant stay. What kept this review from being a five star stay was the air conditioning. In the daytime, we turned the AC up to 74F, but at night, we like to sleep with the AC on 68F. Unfortunately, the first night, the thermostat would not get the house cooler than 70F, so we contacted the owner the following day. We then discovered by looking closely at the thermostat, that it had preset high and low parameters (that had been set by someone other than us). The thermostat was set not to go lower than 70F, and when we asked the owner about setting it to 68F for cooler nighttime sleeping, the owner did not know how to allow for this. Once we explained we see it is preset for a low of 70F, the owner then said we could set it to 69F but “no lower to keep the AC from freezing up in this extreme heat.” We are from a much warmer state and know setting an AC at 68F at night in VA is not going to freeze the AC unit. If I had not had a warm first night’s sleep and had received an apology for the inconvenience, then had been met with an explanation of how to get the AC to 68F at night, my review would be five star. If I had known beforehand that the owner had a desired lowest temperature parameter at 70F for the thermostat setting, I would not have stayed here. If this is resolved; however, I would gladly stay here again!!

This was a fantastic property. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and well organized. Thanks for a great stay!
